Job Title
Technical Analyst
The Technical Analyst is a developer with strong SQL skills that assist our project teams in delivery custom content to our clients. Depending on their role on a project, the Technical Analyst may be responsible for generating and compiling business, functional, and/or technical requirements. The Technical Analyst will apply proven project methodology, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the client’s benefit of business system investments and to assist clients in implementing our company’s flagship software, ConceptOne™.
Responsibilities
- Develop Custom Datasources used for Merge Documents and Forms Generation
- Develop Custom Reports and Data Extracts using Infomaker.
- Develop Data Feeds using SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
- Configure technical setup using configuration tools
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of projects.
- Collect, categorize, and write design specifications for client artifacts: letters, emails, forms, business rules, and reports.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications – verbally or through written documentation – to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Provide technical support on projects as needed for configuration, setup, and testing of various deliverables for a project.
Position Requirements
- Associates degree or experience in the insurance industry and minimum 2 years related work experience.
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, project methodology, and implementation.
- Hands on experience with the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Solid SQL skills and familiarity with SQL Server, SQL Anywhere or similar.
- Experience with XML is a plus.
- Experience with Report Writing tools using a SQL database.
- Experience with Database management for SQL Server or SQL Anywhere.
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing/leveraging data for use in spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts.
- Extensive experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.

Work Expectations
- May require travel to client facilities.
- Occasionally implementations/projects may require work to happen outside of regular business hours –nights, weekends, or holidays may be scheduled to meet client project deadlines.
